Can you explain the difference between the Buyer and Product developer roles?

Hello, in Kingfisher, those two types of jobs are different. Also, you can find plenty of different position which could be defined as "Buyer" or "Product developer roles". If I should sum up globally from my previous experiences, Buyers are in charge to find & define best vendors for our OEB offers. They are in charge to negotiate best prices & conditions for our OEB products with the right level of quality for our customers. Product Leads are in charge to define & build the perfect range of products to fit each customers needs. This mean to pay attention to the market, prices, quality, sustanaibility, design, style & plenty of others elements which will make our OEB products the bests of market.
