How long would you say it takes to find your feet in your role at Kingfisher

It definitely takes a while, which is the same in every multinational, multi-brand company I've worked at! As I moved into a sideways role, I also had to find my feet with the new scope of my role as well as with the company, so I would say it took me a good 6 months to settle.

Part of the reason for that is the area I work in (digital product) can have mirror teams in the banners (brands) who have different names or slightly different structures, so this can be confusing initially until you figure out the role everyone plays and who is responsible for what.

There are so many people to get to know, but everyone is willing to spend time with you and help you piece it together, especially if you continue to say 'I'm new' which I was doing for at least 6 months! Facilities and HR are generally amazing too in terms of the understanding the logistics of Kingfisher life.
